Why I’m Running

I’m running for Columbus Township Trustee because change is needed.

The Columbus Township Trustee Office has had a history of fraud and waste, and I believe it’s time for REAL change.  Like many residents, I believe our township government can do better in communicating with the public, strengthening accountability, and ensuring that services reflect the values of our community. New leadership is needed to change how it operates and make sure taxpayers are getting what they deserve.

I also believe it is time to bring thoughtful change to how we provide fire protection services. The Columbus Township Fire Department plays an important role, but maintaining two separate fire service systems within the same community is not the most efficient use of taxpayer resources. I believe we should pursue a path toward greater partnership—and ultimately consolidation— between township and city fire services to improve efficiency, strengthen service delivery, and better steward public funds.

And most importantly, while reducing waste and improving operational efficiencies, assistance to those in need must not be impacted.  I pledge to instill a service model that is efficient, compassionate, and responsible for all – including taxpayers!

Columbus Township deserves better and I promise to make sure that happens.
